David Pritchard

David has experience within bridge engineering and flood protection design specialisms. He holds a demonstrable background project managing and leading designs for schemes of a multi-disciplinary and technically challenging nature. As a Technical Director for Amey, David leads by example in delivery and actively imparts his specialist knowledge to inspire his delivery teams spanning across Amey’s Scottish offices.

David is a Scheme-wide Design Lead for propping the full extents of the M8 Woodside Viaducts in Glasgow (overall lengths 364m & 437m). He is working alongside specialist contractors to develop his engineering proposals which contain specialist features such as cantilevering collar prop assemblies.

Previously, David was the Assessment Lead for the award-winning Kincardine Bridge Assessment (completed in June 2022).
