Flydeck is the safest, fastest with low visual impact solution to be used on bridges, viaducts, tunnel site. The Flydeck system is a modular and temporary suspended structure constructed using a Flyrail Guide, which enables the assembly of beams both longitudinally and transversely.The Flydeck system ensures operator safety, as work is always conducted above a suspended platform. The system’s simplicity and flexibility make it an efficient, safe, and cost-effective solution for under-deck work. The Flydeck system includes several key components: beams, decks, suspension chains, and a Flyrail Guide for easy and secure set-up and dismantling. Beams, available in steel or aluminium, come in various lengths up to 6 meters and heights of 25 cm or 45 cm, catering to diverse needs. A unique connection system employing spigots and exclusive elastic pins makes assembly swift and uncomplicated. The standard load capacity is impressive, reaching up to 3.0 kN/m2 with chains every 4 m2, or 1.5 kN/m2 with chains every 6 m2.

The new FLYRAIL beam in combination with the FLYDECK system remedies one of the biggest problems when erecting structures for bridges and viaducts maintenance: the continuation of the working surface beyond piles and piers without interrupting the roadway with By-bridges or negative platforms.

FLYRAIL GUIDE - Easier, Safer, Faster

The FLYRAIL guide is hooked to the intrados in one of the anchors previously prepared for the suspended surface, and is complete with a hoist, a rear locking attachment and a sliding carriage. The operator hooks the beam to the sliding carriage and pushes it cantilevered. Using the hoist, it aligns the cantilever beam with the existing one and joins it with a spigot and elastic pins. After also connecting the second beam to the work platform, the operator positions the decks and makes the anchors in total safety because the surface is supported by the pair of FLYRAIL guides. Finally, it anchors the platform using the chosen system and hooks the safety net obtaining double safety and prepares the FLYRAIL guide for the next beam.
