Network Bridges Manager for South East Unit, BEAR Scotland

James is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 18 years' experience on projects of varying size and complexity.

James' background is in design, assessment, construction supervision and maintenance of highways structures.  His notable project work includes design lead roles on the M74 Completion, Queensferry Crossing Network Approaches, A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road and A9 Luncarty to Pass of Birnam Dualling.

Having previously led Atkins’ Bridges and Civils Practice for Scotland and Northern Ireland, James is now BEAR Scotland’s Network Bridges Manager for the South East Unit, directly responsible to Transport Scotland for the asset management of over 800 structures.
