Simon Strain

Simon Strain joined Sustrans in 2013 having spent 10 years in Outdoor Instruction and Education. Initially joining the EYP team as a schools officer on our I Bike programme he then went on to join the Infrastructure team to administer Safer Routes to Schools funding, followed by a number of roles within the Community Links programme. As an Infrastructure Manager Simon was responsible for programme management and played a key role in the creation of Places for Everyone. Now Head of Programme, Grants, Simon currently leads the ongoing delivery and development of Places for Everyone.
