Paul Aldridge

Paul has extensive experience in the highways industry having joined as an operative in 1982, preceding a successful career in operations as a senior manager and then Managing Director for WJ before moving into Sustainability. He has a passion for responsible business and the transformation businesses can help create a just transition to Net Zero, tackle inequality and enhance Social Value.

Appointed WJ Group Sustainability Director April 2018, he is also a member of the RSMA Executive Committee, Chair NHSS 7 Advisory Committee, Highways England Supplier Diversity Forum member, Fairness, Inclusion and Respect in Construction National Steering Committee member, a member of Business In The Community’s (BITC) West Midlands Management Board and Critical Friends group, FIHE, PIEMA.
