Janvi Shah
Head of Asset Management Strategy, National HighwaysDr Janvi Shah is the Head of Asset Management Strategy in National Highways responsible to develop company’s asset management policy and approach as well as lead the transformation programme which sets out the direction for improving organisation’s maturity.
Prior to joining National Highways, Janvi worked as an asset management consultant supporting various asset intensive organisations in rail, port authorities and utility organisations. Janvi is also a visiting lecturer in University of Birmingham to share the practical industry learnings with academia.

Highways asset management as a path to decarbonisation
Success in the decarbonisation of our highways networks can only be realised by addressing the entire asset lifecycle. Asset Management improvement programmes can place ESG goals at the centre to drive and embed long term change. This presentation will demonstrate how strategic goals have been translated down the line of sight to help deliver actual change to ways of working while digitising, improving governance and delivering improvements to customers.
