The will appeal to Highways engineers and traffic officers from Local Authorities and Contractors.  LINPAC products are tested to comply with Passive Safety regulations and are durable products at a reasonable price.

The NEW Night Owl Keep Left Bollard was launched earlier this year but has recently  undergone rigorous testing and has successfully completed extensive trials to meet BS 8442:2006 for Retro Reflective Self Righting Bollard (Rated at 70NE4) which also incorporates BS12767 ‘Passive Safety for Vehicle Occupants’ accreditation.

Formal independent trials are expected to confirm these results shortly.

Rediweld Traffic Products - E6

To be launched in Scotland at Road Expo in November, RediPave is the latest innovation in the use of recycled materials from Rediweld  Traffic Products. RediPave is a modular system for creating refuge islands and build outs which are increasingly being used for road safety schemes. Installation is quick and no excavation is required, which reduces the exposure to risk for Highway Operatives. Trial sites at several locations in the UK have already shown RediPave to be a robust and effective solution. Rediweld wish to thank Jaguar Land Rover for facilitating a series of kerb strike tests on their RediPave and RediKerb products at the Gaydon test centre. These tests, which included driving over at 30 mph, impact under heavy braking, scuffing along the side and scrubbing along the top surface, demonstrated not only the strength of the products but also the energy absorption which minimises any potential damage to the side walls of a tyre that can lead to a puncture. This enhanced safety benefit of RediPave when used with a rebound 'keep left' sign creates a more crash friendly feature. The photo of RediPave shows an installation on the A390 at Penstraze, Cornwall with both passively safe rebound sign and post with sign.  RediPave has a Half battered kerb face, 125 mm high and can be supplied with integral high visibility markings. It can also be used alongside RediKerb which is available with HB or SP kerb faces and is part of a wide range of traffic products made in the UK by Rediweld.

We will outline the Transportation core skills that we have across our six main disciplines: Highway, Bridge and Pavement Engineering, Project Management, Transportation Planning, Intelligent Transport Systems, which we combine as appropriate to successfully, deliver transportation projects on the strategic road network, for local authorities and for the private sector.

We will be promoting our existing services and skills in the Transportation sector and letting potential clients know what our core skills are and the services that we can provide. We will be giving particular prominence to our skills in Pavement Engineering including assessment and testing including the Grontmij Prima100 Light Weight Deflectometer (LWD) which was developed from our full scale Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD). We will also showcase our differential  GPS based asset assessment processes and our industry leading asset management software RoSy and associated GPS based collection systems which enables network managers to optimise maintenance expenditure over a spending cycle.
